Impact With Pride

In rural areas, success often comes down to maintaining presence in the face of systemic challenges. Transportation, gathering spaces, and time can be limited for everybody. Much of what we do is grounded in creating life-lines that stretch across hundreds of miles and many hurdles.

The ripple effect of our educational work each year touches hundreds of lives from all demographics and age groups. We measure success not only in numbers but in smiles, hugs, and the mere fact that individuals feels safe enough to walk through the door.

In just a few short years, MCSSP has held trainings in multiple cities supporting individuals across the county in growing safe spaces together. We’ve participated in numerous public events to provide much needed community representation and resources, and now we’re expanding into online workshops and published learning materials. Everything we do is free or sliding scale based on the principal that radical change requires flexible accessibility and inclusive action.
