Cultivating Resilience & Understanding
Safe Space Workshops
Our grassroots non-profit organization is driven by a passion for building bridges and advocating for LGBTQIA2S+ visibility and inclusion in Mendocino County and beyond. Safe Space Workshops provide a foundation for staff working with and/or supporting queer, trans, and LGBTQIA2S+ identified individuals.
Through cohesive presentations, engaging discussions, and participatory activities, we strive to foster cultural humility and sensitivity among educators and staff. Cultural Humility is an ongoing process of self-exploration and self-critique, combined with a willingness to learn from others. It means entering a relationship with another person with the intention of honoring their beliefs, customs, and values.
